Top Hat Time with Hatesphere!

I know I've been gone for a minute...Life is busy and time is always short it seems.

So I've been digging on the brand new Hatesphere album, "To The Nines"...Who cares that 4/5ths of the original lineup is gone, or that 4/5ths of the lineup from the last record is gone. This is brutally heavy and groovy metallic hardcore with low-hanging balls. This is for fans of Pantera, Lamb of God, Slayer, Sepultura and to some extent, Hatebreed and Terror, except without the shitty adolescent "Say It To My Face" hardcore chants.

Check this band out. I haven't been able to see them live just yet, as their popularity is less than none here in the states. Hey, at least they have proper distribution this time!

To The Nines is out now on Napalm/SPV Records in both regular CD and deluxe CD digipak versions (w/3 bonus tracks).

Testicluar Tuesday is Godzilla!!!

The great Sepultura releases their new opus "A-Lex" today, on this fine Testicular Tuesday. It translates to "No Law"or "Without Law" and is based on an interweaving of both the book and film "A Clockwork Orange". Haters keep on hating: Yes the Cavalera brothers are now both gone. However, they weren't original Sep members and Derrick Green is the fucking Predator. Game point.

If you stopped listening to Sepultura after Roots, I'm sorry you missed years of great tunes. "Against", "Nation", "Roorback" and "Dante XIV" are all strong records (including the Tribus and Revolusongs EP's).

Support this band that has always been the outside thinker in the closed box of the metal world. From what I've heard so far, "A-Lex" promises to kill.

Testicular Tuesday (Got Ya All In Check)

So I thought about Busta Rhymes, which then led me to "Woo Ha!", which then led me to Heavy Metal's own Busta, Derrick Green...Which led me to Testicular Tuesday...And here we are. SEPULTURA IS GODZILLA!!!

Ok fine, that's a Max line. You got me. However, post-Max Sepultura is fucking fierce. I don't care what anyone says. Against, Nation, Roorback, Tribus EP and especially Dante and the subsequent Roman Numerals that followed are all mosterous slabs of crushing metal and downtuned beauty.

New Sep record this Summer, based on A Clockwork Orange. Balls will shake.

Enough talk. The Predator, Derrick Green.
