No, this isn't about Bruce, nor is this a story based in the bowels of Asbury Park, New Jersey. This is U.S.S.A., a fantastic new band that will soon see fit to kick in your eardrums. Featuring Paul Barker (ex-Ministry, from when they were awesome) and Duane Denison (ex-Jesus Lizard, Tomahawk), what you get is pure brilliance. With no records out just yet and a handful of killer tracks lining their MySpace page (www.myspace.com/ussaband), late 2007 and early 2008 are looking promising, with TWO full-length releases coming!
If you like JL or Tomahawk, or even bands like Helmet, The Melvins, Unsane and Quicksand, you NEED to check this out. You can also go the their official site at www.fuzz.com and look up the guys. You can even purchase a few new MP3's over there from their upcoming first LP, coming out sometime in September.
