The year 2008 gave us some really great music. No, really. There were great records by great bands and a good number of newer bands that put out extremely good LP's. 36 Crazyfists killed it this year with a flawless album, while Zozobra and Cult of Luna had a serious go at it for the #1 spot. Buy these records. All of them. Now.There's a lot of great stuff in here. Check it out!

I was wondering when the hell you were going to mention Death Magnetic! Honestly...you need a whole separate post about that shit. Thats FOR REAL!! But anyways...awesome list! I havent heard about 95% of these bands. bwhahah. I hella trust your taste though so I am definitely intrigued. Was super surprised to not see Testament on there!!!! But then relieved to see them get an honorary mention. Right on Bobby! 2008 was indeed quite a kick ass year for music/shows. And yes, other than the plague of CC, I am very much looking forward to what 2009 has in store for us! =)
